Former West Indies and Jamaica fast bowler Daren Powell believes the Caribbean team’s bowlers will need to adjust their length on the Sabina Park pitch in order to level their T20 series against Australia on Tuesday night.

In Sunday’s opening fixture, which the West Indies lost by three wickets. The most economical seamer was Jason Holder who bowled his allotted four overs conceding 32 runs.

The retiring Andre Russell was the most expensive going for 37 runs from just two overs.

A flurry of late wickets in the West Indies’ innings allowed the Australians to creep back into the game resulting in the Shai Hope-captained team ending on 189.

According to Powell, running between the wickets will also be a crucial ingredient if the West Indies are to pull level.
