Former West Indies captain Carl Hooper says he is ashamed and disappointed at the West Indies horror show at Sabina Park on Monday where they were dismissed for the second lowest score in test history.
The Windies were set 204 to beat Australia on the third day of the third Test and were skittled out for a mere 27 runs.
In fact, the West Indies almost equalled the lowest score in test history that of 26 by New Zealand 70 years ago, had it not been for a misfield by one of the Aussies.
Seven players failed to score, the most in Test cricket history for a single innings.
Hooper who captained West Indies in 22 of his 102 Tests, says it was painful.
Hooper says someone has to be held accountable and he believes it is the coach who also has selector powers.
