Gang Figure Jahreem Staine Granted New Bail After Curfew Breach

Jahreem Staine was granted bail on August 7, 2025, at the High Court for the charge of attempted murder of Jimmy Rojas, 28yrs, of Peterseco Street, Belize City, who was found by local authorities suffering from gunshot injuries. Staine breached one of his bail conditions, a curfew mandated that he is to be inside his home, located on Electric Avenue between the hours of 8:00 p.m., and 5:00 a.m., until his case concludes. After deliberation, the sitting Magistrate of Court #4 offered Staine bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount with conditions. Staine must continue to reside at his Electric Avenue address but in his house. Additionally, his initial curfew was reinstated, and he must also report every Friday between the hours of 6:00 a.m., and 6:00 p.m., at the Belama Police Station. Staine’s next court date is set for November 21, 2025
