Injury rules Forde out of ODI series, Layne named as replacement

Barbadian all-rounder Matthew Forde will take no part of the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan after picking up an injury during a practice session.

The 23-year-old dislocated his left shoulder while attempting a catch during a training session on Wednesday.

Cricket West Indies named West Indies Academy pacer Johann Layne as his replacement for the three-match ODI series, which bowls off on Friday at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium.

The 21-year-old Barbadian is yet to make his debut for the West Indies senior side, having represented the West Indies Under-19s.
