Newly elected President of the Jamaica Cricket Association JCA Dr. Donovan Bennett has been talking up Jamaica’s role in the build-up to the ICC T20 World Cup which is set to get underway in Dallas United States in 26 days time.
Jamaica did not bid to host matches in the global showpiece but has been called upon to host a three match T20 International Series which will also serve as a warm-up for two of the countries down to take part.

All three games will be at the country’s Mecca Sabina Park on May 23, 25 and 26.
The West Indies are drawn in Group “C Along with Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Uganda.
Meanwhile, the South Africans are drawn in group “D” with Bangladesh, Nepal, Netherlands, and Sri Lanka.
The tournament bowls off with USA facing Canada in Dallas on June 1.
The Caribbean side’s first match will be against Papua New Guinea in Guyana, while South Africa face Sri Lanka in New York on June 3.
