JFF President Hails U-14 Reggae Girlz

President of Jamaica Football Federation, Michael Ricketts, is labelling the performance of the country’s national under-14 girls team as very good despite them bowing out of the Caribbean Football Union Challenge at the semi-final stage.

With four of their regular starters missing due to a stomach bug, the Reggae Girlz suffered a 2-nil defeat to eventual champions Puerto Rico.

Ricketts says FIFA’s inclusion of Jamaica in their Talent Development Scheme is bearing fruit in that it’s assisting in the growth of the grassroots program.
