Former Calabar High School standout, Kimar Farquharson remains disappointed but has accepted the J-3As Apology after the blunder which resulted in him being removed from the team that was selected to represent Jamaica at the Paris Olympics.
Farquharson was selected as a reserve for the mixed open 4×400-metres relay.
Anthony Cox of Chase Athletics was brought in as Farquharson’s replacement.
The J-3As had stated that Farquharson was removed from the team because he was injured.
However, the Texas A&M informed Nationwide Sports that full fit and in training.
He says three members of the J-3As including president Garth Gayle, has since reached out to him stating that the decision cannot be reverse.
Farquharson;s mentor Dr. Kade Green says the quarter miler would have been an asset to the team.
