Lila Ike says her annual back-to-school treat organized through her Blessings and Light Foundation will not happen this year.
In a social media update, the singer shared that the treat which benefits children in her Christiana, Manchester, hometown will not happen because she is in the process of putting out her long-awaited debut album.
The reggae star says the aim is to reschedule the treat to the January school term.
Titled Treasure Self Love, Lila Ike’s long-awaited debut album arrives August 22 via her Wurl Ike Records and Protoje’s In.Digg.Nation Collective, under exclusive license to Ineffable Records. The 11-track album follows her 2020 breakthrough EP, The Experience.
