With Jamaica’s general election just nine days away, Dancehall star Masicka has become the latest entertainer recruited for a dubplate.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness, via his verified Instagram account, shared Masicka’s dubplate of his popular song Whites endorsing him and the JLP.
However, not all fans were pleased. In the comment section, some expressed disappointment. One user wrote, “Masicka mine me hate you Caz what the hell.” Another said, “Masicka this is the worst song you have ever done.” While one added, “Masicka, I do not approve this song.”
The general election is set for September 3, when Jamaicans will decide the country’s next Prime Minister.
