The National Meteorological Service (NMS) of Belize has completed a comprehensive two-day Multimedia Production Training for its staff. The workshop brought together a cross-section of NMS personnel, including meteorologists, weather observers, and electronic technicians, for immersive hands-on sessions designed to sharpen their skills in videography and digital storytelling. The curriculum covered a wide range of topics tailored to the field of meteorology, including visualization, real-time updates, public engagement strategies, and the use of video in forecasting and scientific data presentation. Participants were trained in the full production cycle, from pre-production planning and equipment setup, to filming and post-production editing using Adobe Premiere. The training utilized a suite of new professional-grade equipment procured through the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Project. Among the gear were GVM 1200 lighting units, shotgun and lavalier microphones, a portable boom pole, a tripod, a professional-grade 18–35mm lens, and heavy-duty support stands.
