Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia “Babsy” Grange, has announced a series of five fundraising concerts to support Jamaica’s recovery following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.
The concert series, titled “I Love Jamaica,” will feature some of the island’s top reggae artistes, musicians, and friends of Jamaica, with all proceeds going directly toward the national recovery program.
The first concert is set for November 14 at the National Stadium Car Park in St. Andrew, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Ministry is also finalizing plans for additional shows in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada, allowing the global Jamaican community and friends of the island to join in supporting the rebuilding efforts.
