Naggo Head Primary Holds 12-Point Lead at Central Athletics Champs

Naggo Head has surged into a 12 point lead at the end of the second and penultimate day of the INSPORTS/Devon Biscuits Primary Schools Central Athletics Championships at the G.C Foster College.

Naggo Head won three of the 8 relays, all in Championship record time, closed the day on 89 points after 11 finals, second is Greater Portmore on 77 points, defending champions Spanish Town are third with 74.5

St. John’s Primary 58 points and Davis Primary 33 close out the top five.

Naggo Head secured the Class four Boys 4x100m in 58.94 seconds beating the old record of 1: 00.14 seconds set on the opening day by Greater Portmore.

Naggo Head also blitz the record in the Class Three Girls 4x100m posting 55.28 seconds to erase their own mark of 56.75 done yesterday.

Their third record on the day came in the Class Two Girls sprint relay, they won in 52.73 seconds, this time beat the Class Two Boys winning time of 53.12

Tomorrow’s final day will see 29 finals.
