Naggo Head of St. Catherine won the INSPORTS/Devon Biscuits Primary Schools Athletics National Championship by 30-and-a-half points at the National Stadium today.
Naggo Head who are the Central champions, have amassed 193 points, well clear of Lyssons of St Thomas on 162-and-a-half points.
Greater Portmore finished third with 94 points, with Spanish Town Primary fourth on 77 points, while St. John’s Primary completed the top five with 72-and-a-half points.
Five records were broken on the second day and in the first final of the day, Yasheka Lewis of Gregory Park broke the Girls’ Cricketball Open throwing 49-point-22 metres, well over the previous mark of 44-point-45 metres held by Taheisha Brown of Lyssons Primary since 2023.
