Weather permitting the first group of Jamaica’s 18-member contingent will leave the island on Wednesday for the Americas Netball World Youth Qualifiers in Guadeloupe, from July 7-to-14.
The second group is set to travel on Thursday.
The Jamaicans are drawn in Pool “A” along with St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, the Cayman Islands and Canada.
Coach of the young Sunshine Girls, Phyllis Thompson, is confident of securing one of three qualifying spots to the World Youth Cup in Gibraltar, in September.
