Nine Jamaicans are listed to contest individual events at the Wanda Diamond League in London, on Saturday.
However, Jamaicans will be focused on the men’s sprint relay team who are seeking to attain the qualifying standards for the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
Jamaica is the 18th ranked team in the world by time and must run faster than the 37.87 seconds of the Netherlands, who are in 15th, or the 38.20 seconds by 16th place Nigeria.
Jamaica will also feature a women’s sprint relay team.
In the individual events, the trio of Tajay Gayle, Carey McCleod and Wayne Pinnock will contest the men’s long jump.
Andrenette Knight and Janieve Russell go in the women’s 400-metres hurdles, Lamara Distin will be Jamaica’s standard-bearer in the women’s high jump.
Natoya Goule-Toppin will run in the women’s 800-metres and the men’s 100-metres will feature Oblique Seville.
