Bounty Killer is among the celebrities reacting to Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, describing the result as a “passing of the torch.”

The deejay, who supported Argentina throughout the tournament, shared a photo of Spain’s Lamine Yamal embracing Lionel Messi with the caption, “Passing of the torch.” He later congratulated the Spanish team, writing in part, “Congratulations to Spain team. Well played and deserved.”

Selector Tony Matterhorn, meanwhile, took a more playful approach. In an Instagram post, he taunted several outspoken Argentina supporters, including Cham, D’Angel and Ding Dong, following Spain’s historic victory.

Other dancehall entertainers who support Argentina include Vybz Kartel, Masicka, and Popcaan.

Spain’s victory secured the country’s second FIFA World Cup title, denying Lionel Messi and Argentina back-to-back championships.

The final also featured a star-studded halftime and closing ceremony. Shakira and Burna Boy performed their collaborative World Cup anthem, “Dai Dai,” while IShowSpeed became the first online streamer to perform at a FIFA World Cup final, delivering a live rendition of his hit song “Champions” during the closing ceremony. Other performers included Justin Bieber and BTS.
