Patra thrilled Lila Ike and Masicka taking her 1993 hit “Romantic Call “ to new generation

Queen of the Pack, Patra is hailing fellow artiste Lila Ike as a rising star of the new generation of artistes.

This, as she reacted to Lila Ike and Masicka sampling her 1993 hit song “Romantic call.”

Speaking with IRIE FM she praised the artistes for bringing her song to the new generation. She says Lila Ike contacted her before sampling the song and described their rendition as a “beautiful combination.”

The original version of the song has amassed some 2.2 million views on youtube while Lila and Masicka’s version has so far amassed 1.3 million views.

Patra’s Romantic Call remains one of her biggest hits and was featured on her Queen of the Pack album which peaked at No. 55 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Reggae Albums chart.
