West Indies fast bowler, Chinelle Henry, is confident the team will be ready when they ICC Women’s T20 World Cup bowls-off in the United Arab Emirates, next month.
Henry made the comment after making an unbeaten 59 in Sunday’s losing effort in their Warm-up match against India.
The tournament begins with two matches, Bangladesh against Scotland and Pakistan Against Sri Lanka on October 3.
The Windies women will face Australia in a warm-up match tomorrow, before facing South Africa in their tournament opener on October 4.
Henry says there are still areas that they need to improve on before the start of the World Cup.
She says the players need to quickly get acclimatise to weather conditions in the UAE.
