PM Briceño Heads to Mexico for Trilateral Talks with Guatemala and Mexico

The Government of Belize issued an official release confirming that Prime Minister John Briceño is scheduled to lead a high-level Belizean delegation to Campeche, Mexico, tomorrow.  The purpose of the trip is to participate in trilateral talks with Claudia Sheinbaum, President of the United Mexican States, and Bernardo Arévalo, President of the Republic of Guatemala.  The leaders of the three neighboring nations will meet to discuss areas of mutual interest and strengthen cooperation across several key sectors. The agenda includes discussions on energy, migration, security, the environment, agriculture, investment, infrastructure, and air connectivity.  A significant point of discussion is expected to be major regional initiatives, particularly Mexico’s Tren Maya project, and how the three countries can explore related opportunities.  This high-level engagement highlights a shared commitment among Belize, Mexico, and Guatemala to deepen regional integration, promote sustainable development, and foster the collective prosperity and well-being of their citizens.  Love News will be there as part of the press corps and will report accordingly.
