Police Confirm No Injuries After Shooting Near Belize City Store

Reports of a businessman being shot yesterday evening proved false after Police responded to an area at the corner of Logwood and Sarstoon Streets in Belize City.  At around five o’clock, several shots were fired in the area as the businessman, 35-year-old Wallace Usher, and several employees stood outside the store.  Information to Love News indicates that three expended shells were found at the scene, but no one was injured.  Since Usher and his workers were not injured, an official complaint or police report was not made.   We understand that two men emerged from the direction of Lakeview Street and fired shots at the group.
