Police Probe Death of 14-Year-Old Shipyard Boy Found at Northern Regional Hospital

Police are currently Investigating the death of 14-year-old Enrique Braun of Shipyard in Blue Creek Village in the Orange Walk District. Braun was found lying motionless at the Norther Regional Hospital yesterday. Initial investigation revealed that his death occurred at his place of employment. ACP Stacey Smith spoke more on the incident:  

Assistant Superintendent of Police Stacy Smith this morning updated the media. 

Asst. Superintendent Stacy Smith: “ On Monday 13 October 2025 at approximately 8.45am, police visited the Northern Regional Hospital where they observed the unresponsive body of Enrique Braun, 14 years of age, a Belizean of Shipyard Village, Orange Walk District. Initial investigation revealed that Enrique Braun was at W.J.’s doors, a business establishment in that village when him and another male person were cleaning some doors and the doors are reported to have fallen on Enrique fatally injuring him.  Police have processed the scene and a number of statements have been recorded  and the body of Enrique Braun now awaits a post-mortem examination.”
