Police probe death of man found in San Felipe Village

Police in the Orange Walk District have launched an investigation into the death of a man whose body was discovered yesterday evening. The ongoing investigation began around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, when police were called to an area of bushes off the road in San Felipe Village. Upon arrival, they found the partially decomposed body of a male with visible injuries. The victim was later identified as Omar Anibal Aguilar. According to initial reports, the body was first discovered around 6:40 p.m. by a farmer who was in the area and immediately notified authorities. Police have not released any further details regarding the nature of the injuries or a possible cause of death.
