Police Probe Ongoing in Ryan Hyde’s Fatal Shooting in Georgeville

Police are yet to make an arrest in the shooting death of Ryan Hyde  of Cotton Tree village in the Cayo District. He died last night from injuries he received on Friday, around 9:30 pm when he was shot in the back of the head. 

According to San Ignacio police the incident occurred on the Pine Ridge Road in Georgeville where they found a four-door 4×4 pickup truck parked on the side of the road with blood stains in the front passenger seat. The vehicle’s rear glass and left rear passenger glass were also damaged. Hyde, believed to be the driver, had already been transported to the Western Regional Hospital for medical attention. After an initial assessment, police ruled out the possibility of a traffic accident.
