Dancehall artiste Popcaan is set to headline the Streetz Festival, sponsored by Dragon Stout, on Saturday, August 30, at the National Stadium.
Popcaan’s journey from local talent to global name began with Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire and hits like Only Man She Want and Dream. He has since collaborated with Drake, Burna Boy, and Jorja Smith, cementing his crossover appeal while remaining firmly rooted in Jamaica.
“We’re excited for Popcaan’s return to Kingston with a full set alongside his band,” the Unruly team shared. “There will be lots of surprises, and patrons can expect the unexpected.”
Organised by Culture Curators, the creative force behind some of Jamaica’s most immersive live experiences, Streetz Festival is as much an experience as it is a concert, where music meets the pulse of Jamaican street culture. The National Stadium will transform into a vibrant hub of style, food, and energy, with fashion as bold as the beats, flavours that celebrate the island, and a crowd ready to soak in the moment.
