Rotary Club Donates New Outdoor Dining Shed to Buttonwood Bay Nazarene Primary

Students at Buttonwood Bay Nazarene Primary School are now able to dine outside, under the shade of a new shed donated by the Rotary club of Belize. The much needed shed which stretches over 4 picnic tables serve as an extra defense from the harsh elements, providing a comfortable space for children to relax during recess time. Principal of Buttonwood Bay Nazarene Primary School, Wendy Smith was thrilled to receive the generous donation, as it’s the second donation from the Rotary.

Wendy Smith, Principal, Buttonwood Bay Nazarene Primary School: “Last year we got the park donated, as you can see at the back, from the Rotary Club and  they saw that we needed another shed at the school and they came and they offered  their assistance in creating this dream come true so we got another shed with four picnic tables.  Well it’s very important for the students especially as you can see right now, they’re having lunch underneath the shed.  Like they said rain or shine we can use it  and it benefits the children not only during the class time, but during if they want to do activities outside, it can be useful for that as well.”

The Donation is sure to serve the children a long time and will help them to be more socially present and interactive.
