Second Man Charged for 2021 Murder of Geoffrey Crawford

Police have arrested and charged Patrick Lloyd Young, a Sanitation Worker of Sabal Community, Dangriga, as the second assailant in the murder of Geoffrey Crawford. The incident occurred in 2021 when 69-year-old Crawford resident of Crooked Tree disappeared under mysterious circumstances on September 21. According to a neighbor, two men were seen entering Crawford’s yard, where he was bludgeoned to death. His body was then placed in the back of his Nissan pathfinder, where the culprits then deceived an area resident into helping them jump-start Crawford’s vehicle, making an escape. Two days later, Crawford’s body was discovered in a shallow grave in Biscayne Village. 41-year-old Maurice Esley Usher, a Construction Worker of Taylor’s Alley, Belize City, was the first to be charged in October 2021. Now, Patrick Lloyd Young is arrested in October 2025.
