West Indies batsman Sherfane Rutherford has described his match winning knock against New Zealand in Trinidad last-night as the best of his career.
Rutherford slammed an unbeaten 68 from 39 balls, as the West Indies from a precarious 30 for 5, went on to post 149 for 9 in their ICC T20 World Cup encounter, at the Brian Lara stadium.
The Windies then restricted the Kiwis to 136 for 9 to win by 13 runs and secure a place in the Super 8’s.
Rutherford says he’s not played a better knock.
Rutherford says the team is stacked with outstanding players, anyone can produced similar heroics at anytime.
