Jamaica’s medal count is now up to five at the CC-CAN Swimming Championships in Mexico.
The Jamaicans picked up three medals Tuesday night.
Skyelar Richards picked up gold in the 13-14 girls 50-metres backstroke in 30.98 seconds, with her teammate Jessica Denniston taking the bronze in 31.47 seconds.
Malcolm McKenzie was third in the 15-17 girls 50-metres backstroke in 26.94 seconds.
The Jamaicans now have two golds, a silver and two bronze.
