England fell eight runs short of victory against South Africa in the ICC T20 World Cup at the Darren Sammy Stadium in Lucia.
Chasing 164 for victory, England reached 156 for 6 from their 20 overs. Harry Brook led the England chase with 53 runs from 37 balls. He was supported by Liam Livingstone, 33, and Jos Butler, 17.
Earlier, South Africa made 163 for 6 off 20 overs.
Wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock made 65, David Miller 43 and Reeza Hendricks 19.
Jofra Archer picked up three wickets for England.
