A group of horse racing stakeholders have taken the bold step of publishing a full page notice, urging the government to rebuff attempts by gaming giants Supreme Ventures to buy the 1-hundred-and-96 acres of land which houses the country’s only race track, Caymanas Park.
The notice was published in the Friday edition of the Jamaica Observer newspaper.
In it the stakeholders, led by President of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association of Jamaica, Andrew Azar, say the government cannot allow the property to fall into private lands.
