15-year-old Sherdanny Garbutt, a third form science student at the Toledo Community College, has been crowned Miss Garifuna Punta Gorda. Sherdanny won the competition from among three other participants on Saturday at the Toledo Sports Complex. Paul Mahung caught up with the new Miss Garifuna and this is the story.
Sherdanny competes for the national title of Miss Garifuna Belize at the Belize Civic Center on November 1st.
