
Police are investigating a burglary and property damage incident that occurred early this morning on Victoria Street. According to reports, 28-year-old John Hyde discovered his room had been broken into sometime between 3:45 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. The intruder reportedly gained entry by breaking the padlocks on his front door. Stolen items include a 32-inch flatscreen TV, a grey Samsung A05 phone, and two motorcycle helmets, with a total value of $1,100 BZD. In addition to the burglary, Hyde’s black Lifan 125 motorcycle, which was parked in his yard, was found knocked over and damaged. The damage, estimated at $645, included a broken rear-view mirror, a damaged front body kit, a broken basket, and a damaged button start system. No arrests have been made in this incident.
