Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise Turns 10: Over 60 Acts, Including Comedian Dale Elliott, for Historic Anniversary Celebration

The Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise is turning 10, and the milestone edition is shaping up to be nothing short of historic. From October 27 to November 1, 2025, the sold-out voyage aboard the Norwegian Joy will unite more than 60 artists, comedians, and cultural icons for what has become one of the world’s most unique celebrations of Jamaican music and heritage. At its core, five defining features stand out: the anniversary milestone, a Marley family spotlight, an all-star lineup, cultural expansion, and the return of the legendary SoundClash at Sea.

The heartbeat of this year’s cruise lies in the Marley legacy. Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Stephen Marley will deliver the final stop of their Traffic Jam Tour, a special performance that alone would make the cruise unforgettable. Adding to the moment, the third generation of Marleys—Yohan, Skip, Mystic, and breakout star YG Marley—will also take the stage. This multi-generational showcase not only honours the past but ensures reggae’s future sails alongside it.

Still, the lineup goes far beyond family ties. Dancehall trailblazers Shabba Ranks and Super Cat will return to command the crowd with their signature energy, while Sizzla and Capleton promise fiery, conscious performances. Hitmakers like Baby Cham, Tarrus Riley, and crossover star Shenseea will bring global appeal, and the next wave of talent—Ding Dong & The Ravers Clavers, Chronic Law, Valiant, Demarco, Mortimer, Sevana, and more—guarantees that fresh sounds meet timeless roots. As co-founder Dan Dalton puts it, “This year feels like history in the making, celebrating our 10-year milestone among family, friends, and fans. We are most grateful.”

For the first time, the Jamrock experience will also feature stand-up comedy, with Jamaican sensation Dale Elliott bringing his sharp storytelling to two exclusive shows. Alongside the music and laughter, the cruise offers immersive cultural programming: Nyabinghi drumming at sunrise, yoga and meditation, authentic Jamaican cuisine, and lively port stops in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Together, these elements transform the ship into more than a festival—it becomes a floating piece of Jamaica itself.

And no Jamrock voyage would be complete without the electrifying SoundClash at Sea. Heavyweights including Stone Love (Geefus), David Rodigan, King Jammy, Rory Stone Love, Renaissance Disco, and Kingston12 HiFi will go head-to-head, with a surprise showdown promised for the coveted championship trophy. When combined with fan activities like go-kart racing, domino tournaments, and meet-and-greets, the cruise cements its reputation as a once-in-a-lifetime cultural voyage. Looking ahead, organisers have already confirmed the ship will sail again in 2026, ensuring the Jamrock legacy continues to ride the waves.
