WI to Face South Africa at Sabina in Build Up to T20 World Cup

Cricket fans in Jamaica will have the opportunity to see the West Indies in action when they take on South Africa in three warm up match as part of their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, at Sabina Park.

The games are set for May 23, 25 and 26.

Jamaican batsman, Brandon King, will captain the Windies and he says this will give them the opportunity to fine tune their preparations, as they get ready to compete in the T20 World Cup.

King says winning the series is not their only goal.

The West Indies are in Group “C” for the World Cup alongside New Zealand, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea and Uganda.

They bowl off their campaign against Papua New Guinea at the Guyana National Stadium on June 2.

Their first match in Trinidad and Tobago will be on June 12 when they take on New Zealand at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
