West Indies women suffered a 20 run defeat to their Indian counterparts in an ICC T20 World Cup warm up game in Dubai, yesterday.
Captain Hayley Matthews bagged 4 for 17 as fifth ranked India were restricted to 141 for 8 off their 20 overs.
Jemimah Rodriques led the batting with 52.
In reply the West Indies made 121 for 8. Chinelle Henry was left not out on 59, Afy Fletcher, 21, and Shermaine Campbell, 21.
The West Indies will open their campaign at the World Cup on October 4 against South Africa in group B.
