WI Women Slump to 160 Run Defeat in Final ODI Against Sri Lanka

West Indies women suffered a 160-runs defeat against Sri Lanka in the third and final One Day International Hambantota, today.

The victory help Sri Lanka sweep the series 3-0.

Batting first, Sri Lanka led made 275 for 6 off their 20 overs. Captain Chamari Athapaththu led the batting with 91. Nilakshi de Silva made 63, Anushka Sanjeewani and Vishmi Gunaratne 44.

Karishma Ramharack took two wickets for the Windies.

In reply, the Caribbean women were bowled out for 115 inside 35 overs. Chedean Nation made 46 and Aaliyah Alleyne 27.

Sachini Nisansala finished with 5 for 28.

West Indies stand-in captain, Shemaine Campbelle, says there are a lot of positive to take from the series despite losing 3-0.
