Captain of the West Indies Kraigg Brathwaite, says the team need to quickly put the first Test defeat against England behind them as they look ahead to the next two match in the three Test series.

England inflicted a crushing innings and 114 run defeat on the West Indies inside three days of the first cricket test at Lord’s.

The hosts needed little over an hour on Friday morning to remove the last four West Indies wickets as they crumbled for 136.

Gudakesh Motie ended unbeaten on 31 as Gus Atkinson bagged 5 for 61, his second five wicket haul in the match.

James Anderson claimed 3 for 32 to end his illustrious 21 year career with 704 wickets from 188 tests and Ben Stokes 2 for 25.

Brathwaite says the players will continue to have hope that they can still win the series.

He says they were in a similar situation on the tour of Australia.
