Managing director of Wray and Nephew Jamaica, Jean-Philippe Beyer, made three big announcements as part of the company’s $200 million football programme.

The programme will run for three years.

Beyer says chief among these is the initiative to train 500 primary school coaches annually.

He says they have also partnered with the JFF to be the official sponsors of the national senior men’s and women’s football teams.

Beyer says they have also decided to directly sponsor some of the local football stadia.
