The second fastest man in history over 100 and 200m Yohan Blake was on Tuesday presented with the Key to the Region in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
The Key to the Region Initiative, in conjunction with local elected officials led by Tamarac Commissioner Marlon D. Bolton, made the presentation to Blake during the official opening of Butcher’s Barrel food franchise in Fort Lauderdale of which Blake is a business partner.
The recognition celebrates Blake’s outstanding achievements in athletics and his commitment to community service. The 2011 world champion over 100m expressed his gratitude for the gesture.

Blake is the fourth Jamaican to be recognized by the key to the Region initiative in Fort Lauderdale after musicians Spice abd Kymani Markey and media personality Miss Kitty.
